Amanda Brazier collects soils in and around Chattanooga to create hand-made paints which are applied in layers reminiscent of primitive dwellings, and with patterns influenced by quilts and woven cloth.
Ursula Vann uses clay and a unique smoke-fired process to create her multifarious vessels. Fired in a 3'x3' box with saw dust and everything from Spanish moss to dried banana peels, each vessel is a beautiful surprise.
Opening Reception: Friday, July 7, 2017, 6:30-8 p.m.
Artists will be present during opening reception!
Events are free and open to the public!
