Janet Eskridge collects old fragments of special handwritten notes, treasures, and photographs. She then gives these items a new life by arranging and layering them inside antique boxes coating with a timeless mix of wax and resin.
Cloistered nun and artist Sister Mary Grace Thul, O.P. views making art as prayer and invites the viewer to find inner peace through her oil painting and collage intimate representations of her faith. British poet Azelina Flint's poem: The Immortal Moment of Innocence (and the Sorrow of Taking Breath) is combined within the paintings by Sister Mary Grace Thul through Valerie Jermusyk's calligraphy.
Exhibit is up for the entire month of December. Admission is free and open to the public.
