Sandra Blain strives to capture a time and place in her earthenware pieces. Impressions in her clay work are made with found and industrial objects, while she simultaneously concentrates on form, color, and texture.
Rachel Nicholson creates feltworks that fit within a contemporary era. Nicholson experiments with traditional wet technique and a modern dry technique to pioneer her own methods for this beautiful artform.
Deb Karash combines her intuitive nature of drawing and technical skills of metalsmithing to create handmade jewelry. Karash applies layers of colored pencil to a textured copper surface, then suspends the copper over cool sterling to bring each piece to life.
Opening Reception: Friday, May 4, 2018, 6:30-8 p.m.
Event is free and open to the public!
