Screen Printing on Clay with Julie Johnson
This event has already happened.
In this 3 week class, we will explore all the possibilities of using the classic screen printing technique on clay. Using clay slips as printing ink, and a basic screen set up, you can transfer any image to your work! We will first practice transferring using pre-made screens, then make one of our own. Students will need to make work outside of class time and bring greenware to class for transferring. We'll also discuss making slips and coloring them with oxides and stains.
