Dr. Ronda Ford
The UTC Symphony Orchestra will present a free concert featuring Dr. Ronda Ford, UTC Adjunct Professor of Flute, on Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto for Flute RV 428, "The Goldfinch". Also on the program are Fidelio Overture by Ludwig van Beethoven, Polovetsian Dances by Alexander Borodin, and The Cowboys Overture by John Williams. The 60-member UTC Symphony Orchestra includes UTC music majors and non-majors, faculty, and community musicians and is conducted by Sandy Morris. Come hear an exciting afternoon of music!

Ronda Benson Ford is instructor of flute at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Dalton State College, and the Cadek Conservatory. She has performed at conferences for the College Music Society and the National Flute Association, as well as with the International Flute Orchestra on tours in Europe and Japan under the director of Dr. John Bailey. She is currently principal flutist with the UTC orchestra. Dr. Ford has been published in The Flutist Quarterly Journal and Flute Talk Magazine. She holds a doctorate in flute performance from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a member of the Fuze Trio which includes faculty from UTC. Dr. Ford has been broadcast on Mississippi Public Radio. Please see for more information.
