The Creative Discovery Museum is presenting a Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) event on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 12-4 p.m. Día de Muertos is all about family and reconnection. The event is a colorful, vibrant, happy time for children and adults to come together and celebrate the living while honoring the past. Join us as we explore different ways Day of the Dead is celebrated in Mexico and Guatemala. Visitors will be able to taste traditional foods, watch Mexican and Guatemalan folkloric dance, make marigold paper flowers, create small and large-scale kites, see an altar display and more.
